For those who don’t know me yet, my name is Ale Demaria and I am the founder of Moveinside, the first school of Personal Growth through Movement.

In my previous life I was introverted, filled with anger and unable to manage my emotions, with the stupid idea that I wanted to control the lives of the people around me as well.

Until my body presented me with the bill all at once.

In medicine they call it Chronic Ulcerative Colitis, I call it “you don’t listen to your body’s signals and you stress it so much that you get ulcers.”

In short, at only 22 years old, they removed not just a piece but my whole colon, thus killing the old me.

That was the most difficult year of my life but at the same time (I later realized) the most important one because it gave me the impetus to embark on a profound journey within myself and my body, trying to understand what the real reasons were for why my body had become so sick so severely even though I was so young.

I sought answers first in academia, then in yoga, and then again in the ancient wisdom of Eastern traditions.

I have been a student of internationally renowned Movement Masters such as Ido Portal.

I have studied the most advanced Movement techniques unknown to most trainers out there (who conceive of movement only as a series of exercises to be executed in the gym or the usual yoga sequence to be performed on the mat).

From my journey, Moveinside, was born the first school of Personal Growth through Movement.
